Question: How was the current blood pressure average determined? And what can be done to regulate the blood pressure naturally?

A few years ago, the Baltimore Sun announced that a panel of doctors had decided to lower the hypertension threshold to below 140/90 mm/Hg. After this “panel of experts” determined that pre-hypertension increased the risk of heart disease and stroke, one swipe of their pen resulted in millions of new potential clients for manufacturers of ineffective blood pressure drugs. The recommendation was that doctors should now consider preemptively medicating any patient whose blood pressure was creeping up towards the 140/90 cut off point. I remember thinking, “Are these people out of their minds? Now there is such thing as treating a ‘pre-disease’?” I thought. Worst yet, they treat these “pre-diseases” with medications that have not even proven their worth in treating the actual “disease”?

There were those that did not sit quietly by and allow them to decree fabricated claims of disease prevention. They quickly wrote articles and stood angrily atop of soap boxes to preach the fallacy of this ridiculous conclusion. Months later, it was determined that this “panel of experts” were actually cronies for the drug companies—having direct ties to the companies that make drugs used to treat hypertension, and now, pre-hypertension. Alas, the word was out and the damage done. Medicine had accepted their phony pre-disease as another medical “fact” that was beyond contestation.

Recently, a controversial article that was published in the reputable Cochrane Database of Systemic Reviews, issue 3, determined that lowering blood pressure to levels below 140/90 provided no benefit to the risk of heart attack, strokes or funeral rates (death rates per year). In this review, lowering blood pressure to 135/85 compared to 140/90 did nothing to improve the health and longevity of over 22,000 patients in the review.

It is not the first and it certainly will not be the last! But, I don’t want to end with an “I told you so.” Let’s talk about blood pressure, why it happens and how to fix it.

First, I am going to speak in generalities here. There certainly are extenuating circumstances that could lead to atypical hypertension. These include the use of certain medication and kidney disease. We will not discuss these less common situations in the interest of helping the majority. This article is for people who have run-of-the-mill hypertension without any definitive cause; this is called “idiopathic hypertension”. People with idiopathic hypertension often ask the doctor, “why is my blood pressure high?” and they receive the dismissive reply, “because you are getting older.” The number one cause of elevated blood pressure is what we call “metabolic syndrome” or “insulin resistance”. This occurs when we consume more carbohydrates than our body can tolerate. When this happens, insulin steadily increases resulting in a catastrophic series of biochemical events that causes blood vessel constriction and water retention. Here is a quick and easy method to begin correcting this health issue:

1. Regulate the amount of carbohydrate that you consume. People with insulin resistance may want to consider decreasing carbohydrate intake to approximately 20% of their daily caloric intake. So if your daily caloric intake is 2,000 kilocalories; 20% equates to approximately 400 kilocalories or 100 grams of carbohydrates. After the body has normalized, you may be able to increase this to 25-30%.

2. Pay attention to the quality of carbohydrate that you consume on a daily basis. A high quality carbohydrate is one with a low glycemic load. For more information on glycemic load, see www.mendosa.com .

3. Exercise at least 5 days a week for at least one-hour. Exercise burns sugar and fat while improving insulin sensitivity. Most people do not exercise often enough, nor do they exercise for long enough. Commit to one-hour a day, if you do this then you will enjoy improved blood pressure and overall health and wellbeing. Your exercise program should include weight training, walking (or light jogging) and stretching.

4. Eat your fruits and veggies. There is no faster way to help normalize the potassium/sodium balance in the body than to cut the amount of refined/prepared foods while filling the void with fruits and vegetables.

5. Supplement to correct deficiencies and improve blood vessel health. Rather than taking herbs for blood pressure, we want to correct deficiencies that may cause elevated blood pressure. These include:

a. Omega-3 fatty acids – Fish oil is the best for improving blood pressure.

b. Magnesium/Potassium aspartate – Be careful if you are on medications for blood pressure as some medications, such as ACE inhibitors, can increase potassium levels to dangerous levels. Standard dose: 2 capsules two to three times daily.

c. Vitamin D3 – This will enhance the absorption of minerals such as potassium and magnesium while providing other benefits to the cardiovascular system. 2,000-4,000 iu daily.

d. HTN Complex – This formula is designed for those who need to more aggressively lower blood pressure. It contains many nutritional and herbal ingredients to improve blood pressure when the above mentioned measures are insufficient. Recommended dose: 2 capsules twice daily.

(NaturalNews) Many of us are going to do what we can to avoid the swine flu vaccinations. But thus far, all the petitions and legal maneuvers have failed. Instead, legal enforcement measures are increasing, with three USA states, Maine, Massachusetts, and Oklahoma having passed legislation to ensure everyone gets vaccinated in their states whether they want to or not! And there are similar enforcement measures in some European nations as well.

So if push comes to shove and there is no escape - what then must we do? Dr. Russell Blaylock, retired neurosurgeon and author of Excitotoxins: The Taste That Kills, and Health and Nutrition Secrets That Can Save Your Life as well as Natural Strategies for Cancer Patients, has some answers that you could tape onto your refrigerator or medicine cabinet.

BTW - if you manage to avoid the swine flu vaccinations, stay away from those who were vaccinated for around three weeks, or at least treat them as though they are infected with a virulent flu. There is such a thing as virus shedding from individuals who are vaccinated with live attenuated viruses, which the swine flu vaccines will contain.

Get Ready for the Worst Now

This advice that Dr. Russell Blaylock presents needs to be started immediately. If you manage to avoid the shots, nothing is wasted. This advice will help you ward off the flu itself and any virus shedding, plus it’ll make you healthier anyway. The worst, most immediate effect from the flu vaccines may come from the high amount of squalene added as an adjuvant.

What can result from squalene is a cytokine storm, which is an over reacting, berserk immune system that attacks the lungs, the brain and nervous system, creating a variety of neurological or autoimmune diseases. This happened in the 1976 bogus flu scare and to soldiers who were vaccinated against anthrax during Gulf War I. It has been reported that the squalene content will be even higher in these Swine Flu Vaccines.

Your Emergency Kit

Dr. Blaylock recommends that you have a cold pack and apply it immediately onto the inoculated or nasal mist sprayed area and continue for the rest of the day. He had observed this working on vaccinated infants who were having adverse immune reactions from their vaccinations. He recommends that you continue cold pack applications and even cold showers if excessive immune reactions causing discomfort continue after the first day.

An hour or so before the shot or nasal mist spray, take a high dose of curcumin and quercetin! Blaylock says these two flavonoids mixed, even with other flavonoids, tend to block the adjuvant squalene’s damage. It seems that continuing those two anti-inflammatory substances should be continued for some time after the shot or shots. Curcumin is in tumeric. So start using that spice in your food now.

Have a high EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid ) Omega 3 oil on hand. Take a high dose of EPA Omega 3 an hour before the vaccination! Then use much lower doses for a few days after. High EPA oils do dampen your immune system, but this is what you want to protect yourself from the squalene adjuvant that produces hyper immune reactions that cause brain inflammation.

Blaylock says that studies have shown this to be highly effective with vaccinations. He recommends fish oils since they are are high in EPA Omega 3. But beware of mercury. Hemp seed oil (it’s legal) could be a worthy substitute. Mercury is another harmful adjuvant in vaccines. So sea foods that are liable to contain mercury should be avoided from now on.

Vitamin D3: Protection from the Swine Flu and the Vaccination

Starting now, boost your vitamin D3 intake. Mike Adams has been saying this for weeks if not months. Get as much sun on exposed skin as possible, and supplement at least 5000 IU’s per day for adults and 2000 IU’s per day for children. More won’t hurt.

Vitamin D3 is an immune regulator. That means it not only boosts your immune system to help you fight off any flu, it dampens an overactive immune system and protects you from a cytokine storm. Pretty nifty stuff! Avoid common drugstore vitamin D or D2. Those are not the D3 that will help you.

The caveat for the transdermal creation of Vitamin D3 from the sun is a claim that showering or bathing with soap soon after sun exposure tends to diminish the vitamin D3 production that begins in the skin. So try to bathe or shower before sun exposure, or shower by applying soap only to the normally stinky parts of your body that were not exposed. Time to get tough!

If you do get jabbed, Blaylock recommends you increase your Vitamin D3 dosage to as high as 20,000 IU’s per day and 5,000 IU’s for children for a couple of weeks, then cutting that in half for several days. Vitamin D3 is not a vitamin, but is actually a neural hormone explained Dr. Blaylock. He advises using an assimilable calcium supplement to increase Vitamin D3’s efficiency. Consider calcium a vitamin D3 adjuvant!

Other Important Nutrients

Dr. Blaylock recommended everyone start taking a good multi mineral/vitamin that does not contain iron or copper but is high in selenium and zinc. Zinc deficiency was found to be high among young children who had serious vaccination consequences. But Blaylock cautions against any copper in the mix since it generates free radicals.

Selenium is an excellent anti-viral as well as anti-inflammatory. There is evidence that toxicity from taking selenium with doses above 200 mcgs is bogus. Twice as much is recommended by that information source. In Japan, the average daily intake of selenium is 500 mcgs. And they have a lower cancer rate than the United States. Try to use natural sources.

To be safe and selective, it may be wise to use individual vitamins and minerals. The B complex is important, as are the selenium and zinc. High doses of buffered vitamin C, 1000 mgs four times a day, is what Blaylock recommends if you get stuck or sprayed. There is high anti-inflammatory activity with Vitamin C as well as anti viral potential.

Then Vitamin E, high in gamma-E in its natural form is another Blaylock recommendation to reduce cytokine inflammation.

Blaylock also recommends astaxanthin to minimize inflammation. Astaxanthin is a deficiency common with dark skinned people. That is why many Africans and Aboriginals died from vaccinations. For astaxanthin reference Mike Adams’s article http://www.naturalnews.com/002156.html

Another Blaylock recommendation is white tea. The whiter the better. It’s a fairly new arrival to the west that has been known in the orient for hundreds of years. So you may have to go online to get it. He recommends four strong cups a day as another effective immune regulator.

Apogenin and luteolin are flavonoids that are very good at blocking autoimmune diseases. Blaylock suggests mixing celery and parsley in a blender and drinking the juice twice a day to get those two flavonoids into your system. However, for juicing while preserving enzymes, a slow speed juicer, if you can get your hands on one, is better than a blender.

Finally, Blaylock says to avoid oils made of corn, safflower, canola, peanut, soybean, and sunflower. He claims they suppress immunity while creating inflammation. Not what you want if you’ve been jabbed with squalene.

Summary and Conclusion

These are all the main points of Dr. Russell Blaylock’s advice on surviving the swine flu vaccinations. His experience as a neurosurgeon has guided him to be an excellent researcher into the nervous system’s reactions to vaccinations and neurotoxins in food additives.

Dr. Blaylock is totally anti-vaccination, for your information. In other words, he knows vaccinations don’t work and they only endanger people who receive them. He has passed this information on to us to help us survive the immediate reactions of forced toxic vaccinations.

Not everyone is going to be able to gather in all of the substances he recommends, especially white tea for example. But most of the main items in his list are available to most of us. So get on it already!

However, Blaylock also warns about the delayed reactions that other adjuvants, such as mercury and aluminum, can create. And there are, as Blaylock mentioned in an interview, stealth (or retro) viruses in the vaccine itself that may cause havoc down the road.

There has been a lot of success recorded from homeopathic treatment of vaccination injuries, or VIDS (vaccination induced disease syndrome). So for long term negative effects, it’s wise to establish a relationship with a homeopath who doesn’t look puzzled when you mention VIDS or vaccination injury.

Need Release from Everyday Stress?  Here is something you can do while driving, watching TV, sitting at your computer, dancing, cuddling, changing a baby’s diaper, hanging out at the beach or park, while watching your kid play sports, while having an MRI, CT Scan or Pet Scan, Sonogram, being adjusted by your chiropractor… well, you get the idea… It is easy and can be done anywhere…

  1. Sit in a comfortable, quiet place, chair or couch, with your feet touching the floor, uncross your legs…
  2. Put your hands palms-up  resting on your upper legs just before your knees, or however it is comfy for you….to receive the good energies from God and the Universe…
  3. Now take 3 separate breaths through your nose with your mouth closed, to fill your diaphram, not your lungs.  Try not to raise your shoulders as you inhale thru your nose,….sit as up-right as you can to align the diaphram so the air you take in is getting there…
  4. Hold the breath to the  count to 3 slowly and blow the air out your mouth slowly to the count of 5…
  5. As you blow the breath out slowly, visualize that some of the oxygen you have inhaled thru your nose and is being released back to the earth, is also being back-flushed to a part of your body that needs to relax… Muscles at the shoulders is good, lower back muscles is good, your chest area, etc.
  6. Do this exercise whenever you think about it, or even when you get a little anxious…

I Dare You To Have Hope!!!

In the fall of 2006 when I was living with #2 son for awhile,  there was this young (relative term, since I was 61 at the time) man giving a speech on TV.  I had never seen or heard him before.  I asked son who that was, and he answered “that’s Barack Obama, the next President.”  Yeah, right, what does my Generation X son know about politics?

Well, being it was early for campaigning, I thought nothing of it………..Here we are in 2009, a mere 3 years later and you know “the rest of the story”, I am sure.

…..I had always said I would not pay even 25 cents for  O’s book, THE AUDACITY OF HOPE.  But I had to eat my words a few weeks ago.  I ran across  it in a bunch of caste-off books (seems others thought the same) in a box at a yard sale.  It was 25 cents for any of the books. I also picked up a few alternative health oriented books from that box.

When I got home, I began reading the Prologue……OH MY GOSH!! If you have not had the chance to read this, do it.  It is very enlightening to read words and phrases that are frightningly close to being Total Socialist, forget the Muslim issue……….That is nothing compared to what he has written in those first pages.

I decided to then decipher the Title of the book. I used  Webster’s Dictionary/c.1941.
Audacity-n., boldness, daring
Boldness-n., rude
Daring-n., defy
Hope-n., desire
Desire-n., request, wish
So, as I, as one and in my opinion, analyzed and broke down the true meaning of this diatribe…One can only see that what he truly meant and so rudely conveyed was “I Dare and Defy you to Wish” !

SUPPLEMENTS SUGGESTED FOR HPV

I have had several inquiries re: “what can I do when I have been diagnosed with HPV?”   First of all, it is a viral infection.  Just as the common cold, the flu, Herpes.  Here are some specifics re: how to lessen the impact of this diagnosis.  (Also, good to follow for prevention.  Just utilize the recommended dosages on the supplement.)

*the following is what i utilized when I was diagnosed in 2003 with HPV.  I have had pap smears since, and no sign of this virus is indicated.   I do not diagnose.  I give suggestions as to what supplements seem  to be beneficial  in the long run re: diagnosis by a Doctor.

Silly Jobless Claims

I find it amusing now and then to read just the headlines…….Jay Leno is my mentor in this area.

Just today, this one caught my eye from YahooNews.

565K new jobless claims, lowest level since Jan.

Isn’t this headline just a little silly?  For 6 months, thousands of people have lost their jobs in all sectors……and no one is hiring these people to get back to work…..The workers that are left is dwindling.  Then they get laid off or let go permanently—–Wouldn’t it stand to reason, the numbers would be getting less and less over time for the NEW jobless claims?

Let me put it another way…….If you have 5 boxes of Mac&Cheese on the shelf and you use one a week, the supply dwindles.  You report that each week you have “X” # of boxes thrown into the garbage.  When you have eliminated all 5 boxes, say in 4 weeks;  What is going to be the result for reporting on the boxes thrown into the garbage for that week?   NONE, NADA, ZILTCH !!!   So, is that a good thing?

I think we should all be mindful and concerned about anything that is going to disrupt our health and put our bodies at DIS-EASE. But driven to extremes with tactics that appear to be frightening and to raise the stress levels of anxiety, in some respects, is beyond me.

I am now, after several months of study, able to disseminate more natural health information than I ever thought I could. Microbiologist discusses keys to swine flu response

Amy Cheng Vollmer has taught biology at Swarthmore for 20 years.

The best way for the public to confront fears of H1N1 Swine Influenza A (swine flu) is to practice basic good health, says Swarthmore microbiologist Amy Cheng Vollmer. In addition to information about transmission, people should be aware of factors contributing to susceptibility.
“Because your susceptibility depends on both the amount of virus to which you are exposed and the overall health of your immune system, the keys are to minimize exposure and maximize your immune responsiveness,” says Vollmer, a professor of biology whose research focuses on bacterial stress response. “Think of this as a race - if a pathogen enters at a low concentration and your immune system is ready to respond, you win and don’t get sick. If you are either exposed to a high concentration of the virus and/or your immune responsiveness is not at its peak, you’ll be sick.”

Thank you Amy Cheng Vollmer. Now, how do we do what she suggested? How do we Ramp up the immune system to be at its peak? Well, settle in for the Good News…..it is simple and uncomplicated.

Eat foods and take those supplements that are anti-viral. “Anti” meaning Against. See? Simple and uncomplicated? Now, here is where I come in……..below are listed those foods and supplements that will boost your immune system to ward off any viral infection, any fungal infection, and any bacterial infection. Your immune system is the Army against the Bad Dudes that would want to live in your body and DIS-rupt the EASE of the body temple, GARLIC-very effective anti-viral (Remember the gypsies you used to read about, with the garlic hanging around the neck? It just wasnt to ward off evil spirits) One should consume fresh, raw, crushed garlic (works best if taken within an hour of crushing) Dosage is initially 2 to 3 cloves per day. ( you can eat fresh parsley or take chlorophil tablets to lesson the marvelous fragrance that will be your buddy while doing this.)

VITAMIN C-Blocks the enzyme neuraminadase (I know, i am getting techical). But viruses need this enzyme to reproduce. (Vitamin C the new birth control, so to speak) Therapeutic doses recommended are 1000 mg hourly for 6 hours and then 1000 mg 3 times daily for 3 days to jump start the immune system. Then thereafter, at least 3000 to 4000 mg per day. CAUTION: vitamin C causes diarrea in high doses. If you find you are experiencing this, then back off the dosage 1000 mg. at a time, until you find your toleration level. Generally it is about 2500mg a day.
GREEN TEA-If you like tea, and havent tried this one, do so. You can drink it hot or cold. You can get it in combination with other herb teas, try the Green Tea with Chai….and sip it. Beware of the teas that are commercially bottled. They sometimes have sugars and especially HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP (A No No).

St. John’s Wort (Hypericum)-Very effective anti-viral. It decreases the production of the cytokine IL-6,(Here I go being technical, again) But an over-abundance of this little immune thing can be detrimental where a virus is concerned. so basically, the Hypericum in St. John’s Wort keeps the cytokine IL-6 at a normal level to combat the virus.

VITAMIN E-Immune Booster. Also decreases the production of another cytokine, TNF-a. And works the same as the St. John’s Wort. Very useful if you already have a compromised Immune System. The effects are enhanced when taken with vitamin C.

APPLE JUICE-A great antiviral. Fresh apple juice including the pulp, and skin has greater antiviral activity than the heated commercial apple juice. So, if you have a juicer, Have at it. Also, take into consideration using organic apples. ( There are several friends of mine that have apple orchards and last Fall I put up, juiced and froze 8 bushels. note: the digestive enzymes are not depleted when you freeze fresh fruit and veggies. so dont blanch these things before freezing. Just cut, throw a little citric acid on to lessen the browning (oxydation of the fruit or veggie) and put in the ziplock freezer bag or in glass jars and pop them into the freezer….(SIDE EFFECTS: may cause a trip to the appliance store to purchase a chest or upright freezer)

RESVERATROL-Inhibits neuraminidase (mentioned before with Vit C). Also, sends a message to cells to stop manufacturing viruses. You can find Resveratrol in Red Wine (at last, an excuse!), peanuts,mulberries,raisins and red grapes……The supplement is more stable than the wine (DRAT!) and is available in liquid form for absorption in the mouth (subliqual)

COLLOIDAL SILVER - This is an anti-viral, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial liquid. This is what I have been taking since I was diagnosed in 2006. The brand is “Sovereign Silver”. I put one tsp a day under my tongue for 30 seconds and then swallow. It has proven to keep the Epstein Barr and Herpes viruses from resurfacing for over 2 years.

OLIVE LEAF EXTRACT-This is an anti-fungal, and works on boosting the immune system to fight off the fungi overgrowth. It comes in a capsule or liquid form.

If some of the suggestions did not have dosages, that means take what is recommended on the bottle. And another thing you can also double up on that. For instance if it says one a day, you can take one in the morning and one at night.

FYI–VIRUSES feed and grow on the inflammation we have in our bodies. Not only the inflammation when we have to clear our throats, but the inflammation of allergies,chest colds, arthritis, edema, a cut that is inflammed, just anytime that the immune system is trying to ward off infection, it causes inflammation………….so there are certain foods to avoid so you won’t harbor the Bad Dudes, give them a safe haven (inflammation) to hide in. KIMCHI — same as honey. (In case you dont know, KimChi is an oriental cultured highly spicy raw food product)
DAIRY PRODUCTS AND BANANAS--These are the ones I really could really “shoot the messenger” over. DRAT! I love (d) my ice cream, cheese, and bananas! (why–WHY??????? Well, dont eat these things, people, they increase the mucous production……which is akin to inflammation!)

The last time I was at a political rally was in 2000 at Weeki Wachee, FL.  VP Cheney spoke and I saw him on the stage.

This go-around, my sister-in-law, Barb, and I went to Lunken Airport, Cincinnati,  on Monday afternoon and greeted the MCCAIN/PALIN  airplane as it landed and unloaded the PALIN entourage.  We saw her from afar, as she was hustled to the SUV along with the mighty news media scrambling around as was the Secret Service.  We  assumed it was her.  We got a picture of “de plane, de plane.”

Tuesday morning, Barb and I loaded ourselves into my PT and scooted over to Lebanon, Ohio with the help of  “Sue, the GPS guide”. There, we parked, walked 5 blocks to the Golden Lamb Hotel (historical site). We could hear the cheers echoing through the air. Umbrellas in hand ( over our heads), we walked briskly toward the noise of the unseen crowd. As far as could get was a block from the grandstand in front of the Golden Lamb! DRAT!

Hearing Cheers and the local High School Band Music was exciting. There was a fellow warming up the crowd; the local Republican Head Honcho, I am guessing.  We stood there for about 15 minutes with others. I was getting antzy!  You could see there was a crowd, you could only hear that excitement.  People around us, behind the barricade as we were, were compliant and satisfied, I guess, with this place they stood. Not me. especially since nature was calling and I had better find a place to take a “potty break” quick.

We were in front of the local historical society building, door locked.  Down the way, was the post office….Good……I will go there……door locked!!!  Oh, my gosh !!! Critical circumstance.  I left Barb and went looking. No green portable” johnny on the spots”. Finally some lady suggested I go up the alley. WHAT????   and turn right, go a block, cross the street, continue on until you come to the fire truck, turn right and go to DOC’S.
Sounded good to me, whatever…..

I got to the fire truck…..but where is Docs?  There was a friendly looking young man in a security uniform (actually looked like an Boy Scout who was working on his Eagle Scout Patch) standing in the  middle of the street, guarding the barricade.  So, I went up to him and very hurriedly said, ” I have got to find a bathroom, or I am going to STOP, DROP, and PEE  right here in the middle of the street!”. Needless to say, he pointed to Docs on the other side of the street just 5 doors down. A RESTAURANT !  I couldn’t see it right a way,because of all the TV trucks and satellite dishes in the way.

Mission accomplished….so I called Barb on her cell and directed  here where the action was happening.   We now were within hollerin’ distance of the  stage, but on the backside, still half-block away. Oh, well, at least we can hear more clearly.  We were now where the buttons, shirts, and signs, and bumper stickers were being sold. We were now in a part of the crowd that was rambunctious, hootin’  and shouting.   It was ELECTRIC !  And neither Sarah or McCain had shown up yet.

Then you could hear the crowd and the noise swell from the grand stand……..The announcement……and Sarah is at the podium……Drat!  We still cant see her. Oh, well. at least we can hear her, LIVE, without a seven-second delay.  What a great 20 minutes.  then McCain was introduced. Drat! cant see him either. Just the backside of camera men up there with them and the band. What a great 20 minutes there, too.  How boistrous this Republican crowd is. No being conservative about showing emotion in this little town.

Speeches are done, crowd is dispersing…..and we are stopped on our way back to the car, via the alley and ready to cross the street….OOPs, a barricade at the end of the alley with a baby-boomer age policeman standing guard. “Cant cross the street, here. gotta keep it clear.” he says.  There in front of us are the same sort of vehicles that were at the airport yesterday…Oh, my gosh, we are in the line-up where the candidates come and shake hands!  Sure enough, maybe we are going to see them up close and personal !  Here they come down the street ! They are starting to come toward us because we can see the sound booms and the camera men preceding them !  The people are shouting !  Oh, my Gosh, I am so excited !  Wait a minute !  DRAT !

They are turning back!  Just short of us, the cameras are going away from us….we lean a little to look out from the barricade and caution tape and we see  the back of John McCain  leaving and headed to the Campaign Bus…….

One good thing. It had stopped drizzling rain, so we picked up our umbrellas and hiked back to the car having enjoyed the experience and the enthusiasm of being there breathing in the moment.

God, Green and Oxygen XIII

I was looking forward to getting to Ohio for the summer. Seeing my brothers and friends and enjoying the activity that goes on in a rural community surrounded by corn and soybeans. But before I left I got a call from a friend with some sad news. The Indian Dr. I had used last summer that had administered the Chelation Therapy, the Ion foot baths, and Ozonation of the blood, had died suddenly due to a massive heart attack. Oh, dear, I thought, as all his patients I am sure were thinking………….Now where do I go for any IV treatments? I decided to put that issue on hold for the time being. I still have not pursued any IVs here. There are few places to choose from and I am not in the mood to start interviewing doctors again.

I did go visit the Metabolic Institute that I had visited last summer. That was just to see how I was faring in the way of the supplements I was taking; do I need more? less? anything additional? They did some muscle testing and found I could whittle the quantity. I was in Balance! I dont need to see them until September. I have some knowledge of self-muscle testing and at least once a week I test myself on all the herbs, vitamins, and minerals, and have found that the body knows what it needs and when it needs it. Amazing.

I had a chance to go by and see the Chinese oncologist that had recommended that I begin Chemotherapy way back in August 2006. Why? you ask? what good would that do? Well, it seems that he has sold his oncology practice and is now utilizing his Chinese Tao (medicine) in treating patients.  He is using his expertise of Herbs, and other supplements and the Accupuncture Procedures to balance and heal the patients. Do you suppose that the conversation he had with my Florida Chinese Dr. had anything to do with it?  Do you suppose my telling him in 2006 that he should do the Chinese medicine he knew and not Chemotherapy?  It turns out  the two Chinese Drs  came from families in the same province in China! Well, whatever the reason,  I was pleased. I welcomed him into the fold.  He did ask if I needed any Herbs and  checked my lymph glands and pulse point.  I will visit him again when I re-evaluate the herbs I am taking.
